Grandparents Day

‘Nobody can do for little children what grandparents do.’

Grandparent’s Day is a special occasion dedicated to honouring and appreciating the wisdom, love and contribution of grandparents in our lives. On this day many activities were organised to commemorate our dear Grandparents. Students and teachers gathered to celebrate the special bond between generations.

Pre School and Pre Primary students joyfully observed Grandparent’s Day by crafting beautiful cards with handprints. The little ones dipped their hands in colour and stamped them to make lovely designs. These cards were a heartfelt gesture to express their love and gratitude towards their grandparents.

Class 1 and 2 students created beautiful bouquets using paint and recycled newspaper. They also made creative cards to express their care and appreciation for their grandparents. This special art work acknowledged their crucial role in children’s lives and strengthen family bonds.

Students expressed heartfelt thanks to their grandparents for their guidance and support by making gratitude and appreciation cards. The teachers shared life experiences by narrating the stories of wisdom of their grandparents.

This day celebrations fostered a sense of community, respect and appreciation for the elderly. The day highlighted the importance of intergenerational connections and the valuable role grandparents play in shaping family traditions and values.
