Global Handwashing Day in class 2

To commemorate Global Handwashing Day and in order to sensitise the students of class 2 about the techniques of proper handwashing, an online workshop was conducted by the teachers of

The Indian School-Second Shift on 15 October, 2020, in a virtual class.

The workshop started with a short briefing about the need to maintain proper hygiene followed by an informative video which explained how proper hand hygiene can significantly reduce the spread of the harmful COVID virus and germs that can lead to harmful infections.

The students were asked questions about how they maintain hygiene in their daily lives. The teachers reiterated the importance of handwashing in the present time of pandemic.

The students participated very enthusiastically in the session and said they would share what they had learnt with their families at home.
