Exploring the The Moon at the National Science Centre

On 24th July 2023, a group of enthusiastic students from classes 5 to 8 had the opportunity to embark on a remarkable journey through the National Science Centre's immersive event, "The Moon: Our Celestial Neighbour." The interactive and educational experience served as a gateway for our young minds to expand their knowledge of space, astronomy and the moon, while inculcating essential values and lessons along the way.

The programme began with an awe-inspiring panoramic view of the moon's surface, captured by various space missions. Students marveled at the detailed landscapes, craters, and lunar geological features. The journey continued with interactive displays, informative panels, and life-sized models, offering students an experiential understanding of the moon's significance in our solar system.
