Dussehra Assembly by classes 3-5
“The important thing is to strive toward a goal and not be swayed by the evils of the world.”
On 25th September 2025, Classes III to V hosted a vibrant and educational Dussehra Assembly. The event beautifully conveyed the universal spirit of the festival — the victory of positivity over negativity, courage over fear, and truth over falsehood.
The assembly began with a lively choir performance that set a cheerful and uplifting tone for the day. Students then presented thought-provoking messages using colourful props, placards, and expressive narration, highlighting how Dussehra teaches us resilience, honesty, and the strength to make the right choices. A graceful dance performance added charm and energy, leaving the audience enthralled.
The highlight of the morning was a visually engaging video presentation that took everyone on a cultural journey across India. It showcased the diverse ways in which Dussehra is observed in different states — through plays, processions, fairs, and community gatherings — each adding its own unique flavour to the shared message of good overcoming evil. The video was not only informative but also a celebration of India’s unity in diversity.
To keep the excitement high, a Dussehra Quiz was organised, featuring question- answer rounds on values, cultural traditions, and lessons associated with the festival. Students participated enthusiastically, answering with confidence while the audience cheered them on. The quiz made learning fun and interactive, ensuring that the values associated with the festival were absorbed in an engaging way.
The assembly concluded with a reflective note that the true celebration of Dussehra lies in making positive choices, standing up for what is right, and working together as a community.
