The Indian School organised the Dr. Amidas Goradia Memorial Badminton Tournament from 10th to 13th August 2026. The tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various categories, providing them with an excellent opportunity to showcase their skills and competitive spirit.
The tournament featured Boys’ Singles, Girls’ Singles, Boys’ Doubles, Girls’ Doubles and Mixed Doubles categories. Students from our School participated with great enthusiasm and displayed commendable sportsmanship, discipline and determination throughout the tournament.
The event provided students with valuable exposure to competitive badminton. They not only enjoyed the matches but also learned important aspects of the game, including technique, strategy, footwork, game awareness, teamwork and maintaining a positive sporting attitude.
The tournament was an enriching experience for all the participants, encouraging them to improve their skills, learn from their opponents and develop greater confidence on the court. Overall, the event was a memorable and rewarding experience, promoting the spirit of sportsmanship, healthy competition and love for the game of badminton among the students.
