Clay Modelling Workshop for Primary and Pre primary

A creative and engaging Clay Modelling Workshop was organised for primary students, from Pre school to class 5, on Tuesday, 17 March, 2026. The session aimed to enhance artistic skills and encourage creativity. The primary objective was to provide a joyful learning experience while improving imagination, strengthening the fine motor skills, and hands'-on ability.

The resource person engaged the students through a variety of fun-filled and interactive activities. The session included clay modelling, arts and crafts, and skill-based tasks that encouraged participation from every child.

The students participated enthusiastically, creating a variety of models. This activity allowed them to express their ideas freely while also improving their concentration and hand-eye coordination. Teachers assisted the students throughout the session, encouraging them to explore their creativity and use different colours and designs. Consequently, the environment was filled with excitement, joy, and curiosity.

The young learners were provided with soft clay and guided step-by-step to create beautiful crafts. Students from Pre school to class 3 participated in craft-making that promoted teamwork, while students in classes 4 and 5 explored more structured creative tasks to enhance their problem-solving abilities and innovative thinking.

The resource team ensured that every child remained involved and motivated. The workshop concluded with a display of all the creations, filling everyone with a sense of pride and accomplishment. Not only was the event enjoyable, but it was also highly educational, helping to develop artistic skills and boost students' confidence.

Overall, the Clay Modelling Workshop was a great success and provided a meaningful learning experience for all students.
