Classes Pre Primary and Pre School excursion to Bal Bhavan

A beautiful journey that started with the purpose of an educational tour and ended up creating beautiful memories.

Field trips provide students with an ideal opportunity to learn at their own pace without having to worry about their test scores or exams. Since they are at leisure and in a recreational setup, learning becomes all the more fun with better experiences and results than curriculum-driven practices.

An excursion to the National Bal Bhavan in Delhi was organised on November 24, 2022, for the students of Pre primary and Pre school. It was a venue filled with diverse educational opportunities.

The students saw murals depicting the  cities and states of India on the walls of the Bhawan. Afterwards, they visited the museum, where they saw utensils from medieval times, a display of puppets, a mirror maze, locomotives, and stalls of various states exhibiting their traditional attire, etc.

Ahead, they saw parrots and flocks of birds. Besides this, they also got to learn about traffic rules and why they are so important for road safety. The children were thrilled to observe the varieties of fish.

The children thoroughly enjoyed the unique displays in each museum, offering non-formal learning opportunities for children. The main attractions of the museum were the exclusive galleries named "Surya," "Hamara Bharat," "Gaurav Gatha," and "Creative Works of Children." There were many handicrafts, paintings on the walls and models of animals. The craft made by the children on the spot, were arranged on the boards and tables.

We also visited a museum where village life was depicted. The students thoroughly enjoyed drawing water in buckets from the replica of a well!

They indeed had a memorable field trip that was both educational and entertaining.
