Class 4B collaborates with peers in Russian school

Children are the Priority, Change is the Reality, Collaboration is the Strategy!

On Thursday, December 23, 2021, the students of class 4B collaborated with Ms Helen Shramkova-Kapatsin, an educator at the Smart Teens Studio in Belgorod, Russia along with her talented students.

The session began with customary greetings from both ends, after which the students exchanged Christmas wishes. The joy of celebrating the festival virtually was evident on the bright faces of students of both sides.

Our students presented a medley of christmas carols like ‘Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer', ‘We wish you a Merry Christmas’, ‘Twelve Days of Christmas’, and ‘Jingle bells’. The students from the other side sang melodious songs in Polish. They also presented a traditional Russian dance with wooden spoons. Their performances were mesmerising and filled the air with festivity. The students from across the screen showcased beautiful christmas crafts made especially for the session.

Our students were introduced to  greetings in Russian by their peers and in turn taught them a few words of Hindi!

It was a delight to see the students interact with their peers. The session ended with a promise to continue collaborating through an exchange of videos on Wakelet and Flipgrid.
