Class 10 blends digital literacy with environmental learning, as students codify the trees on campus

On 24th April 2025, to know about plants and their uses, a campus tour was organised for class 10 students to raise awareness about environmental conservation. As part of an experiential learning activity, the students were guided to observe and identify the various types of trees on and around the School campus. They examined the leaves, noting their shapes and colours, to distinguish between the different species. This hands'-on experience encouraged a deeper connection with nature and enhanced their understanding of biodiversity.

To integrate technology into the learning process, the students were then asked to create QR codes containing detailed information about each tree. These QR codes, when scanned, would provide data such as the tree’s name, characteristics, and ecological importance. The activity effectively blended environmental education with digital literacy, making it an engaging and informative experience for the students.
