Childrens Day Celebrations in the Pre primary
“Every child is a different kind of flower. All together they make this world a beautiful garden”.
Children’s Day commemorates the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and his affection for children. Through his political career, Pandit Nehru was an ardent advocate of children’s rights and privileges. This year, it was the 65th Children’s Day.
We observed the occasion on 18 November, 2019 at our School. Several programmes for the children were organised by the teachers. The classrooms were decorated with coloured balloons. In the auditorium the stage was set for performances by the teachers to entertain and delight the children.
The mesmerising performance of the day was songs sung by the Pre Primary teachers. The power-packed performance set the stage alight! The students were overwhelmed to see their teachers perform for them and loudly cheered them. School was abuzz with excitement and joy that day.
The celebration concluded with a power-packed performance and the teachers surprised the students with their creative moves.
Development Advisor, Ms. Susan Thomas applauded the effort and encouraged the students to dream big and work hard. The day was filled with various activities organised for the students.
