Childrens Day Celebrations in Pre-School & Pre-Primary

At The Indian School-Second Shift, teachers of the Pre-School and Pre-Primary section organised a fun filled online Children’s Day celebration for the young ones on 12 November 2020. Students were dressed according to the theme of the celebration, that was, ‘My Favourite Cartoon Character’. Everyone was excited about the programme. The happiness on the students’ faces was more than evident during this virtual celebration!

  

The occasion began with a warm welcome by the teachers, one of whom dressed as Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. spoke a few lines about how much Chacha Nehru loved children. She shared his message for the children of the nation. This was followed by a video medley of children's favourite songs-The Lion Sleeps Tonight, Ladki Ki Kathi etc. sung by the teachers. The children were delighted to see their teachers singing for them!

Next, there was a live enactment by the teachers showcasing some fun various experiences of the online classes. The skit was hilarious and each little one was beaming through the performance. Students could relate to the characters portrayed. Concluding the assembly, the teachers presented a spectacular video with a dance which they dedicated wholeheartedly to their young students. It was undoubtedly loved by all.

At last students and teachers danced together. The celebration was filled with enthusiasm, love and joy to match the spirit of the special occasion.
