The childrens enthusiasm and their assimilation of facts relating to the freedom movement, national symbols, our leaders etc was very reassuring. In fact each one was eager to outdo the next as they vigorously attempted answers! Hands flew up almost as the quiz mistress completed her question! We, adults were happy to note that our little ones, born over 6 decades after independence, take pride in matters of their motherland. Several shy children also, spontaneously, chose to not spare the opportunity to speak!
[gallery link="none" ids="7500,7501,7502"]Todays Gen X appears to know more about smartphones and the latest cars, possibly way more than a civilisation thousands of years old. But we found that our misgiving was unfounded as our young Incredible Indians matched minds. We felt very heartened to see that our country is indeed alive and kicking in the hands and hearts of the youth.
Kudos to all the young participants and congratulations to Jupiter House on their well- deserved win.
