Celebrating Gandhi Jayanti in PS and PP.
The PS and PP departments of The Indian School-Second Shift celebrated Gandhi Jayanti at a special assembly on 30th September 2016, to commemorate the birth anniversary of the Father of our nation, Mahatama Gandhi.

The assembly began with a special tribute to Gandhiji. Children of PP-Swan shared anecdotes from Gandhijis life and spoke on the contribution made by him to Indias freedom struggle. The moral values depicted by Bapus three wise monkeys were shared amongst the young students to prompt them to Speak no Evil, Hear no Evil, and See no Evil in their daily lives. Ayaansh came dressed in a khadi dhoti as the Mahatma himself Gandhi and spoke a few lines on the importance of leading a simple but noble life.
Next, the children were given a taste of cooperation, as it were and a sense of involvement when the tiny tots of PS-Sparrow enacted the Dandi March.The highlight of the assembly was the rendition of Bapus favouritebhajan Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram by the students together. The assembly concluded with an eye-catching dance presentation by PP students to the song Bannde mein tha dum .
