Beat the Heat with a Pool Party!

A summer pool party is one of the best ways to energise the children and beat the heat. The month of May is indeed very hot and the students get exhausted. Activities that involve playing with water strengthen childrens motor skills and develop the ability to propel and navigate. This activity improves the skills of coordination even as it helps generally cool off.

Keeping this in mind, the School held the customary Splash Pool Party on 10th and 11th May, 2018 for the students of the Pre-School and the Pre-Primary.

The poolside was tastefully decorated with strings of balloons, balls, posters and buntings. The tables were arranged with tender coconuts, melons ,cool drinks and brightly coloured garden umbrellas to lend shade. The little ones looked very excited as they stepped into the water in their colourful swimmimg suits ,shades and caps. Soon they were splashing about and happily frolicking in the water. They stood beneath the fountains to enjoy the gushing water!

Peppy music playing in the background made for a magical mood. The children in sunhats, tapped to the lively beats even as they played in the cool water. Refreshing drinks to sip in the cool pool as the music played completed the memorable scene.

The summer suddenly felt bearable and enjoyable!
