Annual exhibition held online by Pre school

The Annual Exhibition is an integral part of School activities. It is an occasion of celebration, felicitation and festivity when students not only display their exhibits but also receive recognition and appreciation for their effort. During this pandemic,  the Pre schoolers of The Indian School-Second Shift hosted a one-of-a-kind virtual Annual Exhibition on Friday, 16th October 2020. The exhibition was based on this year’s School theme “March In Time: Technology- Then and Now”.

The programme started with a welcome by Acting Principal, Ms. Sukhmeen Kaur Cheema.  Vice-Chairperson, Dr Mrs Nayana Goradia blessed the students in a video message. She also welcomed their parents to this virtual exhibition. She then shared the ethos of the School and the idea underlying the School theme of the year. She acknowledged students, parents and teachers for their efforts. This was followed by a video presentation with rich glimpses of previous years’ school functions.

The annual exhibition included various aspects. Students rendered a creative recitation presentation, ‘Online Ho Gaya Zamaana’, on which how technology has evolved and how, everything is now available online.

Next, followed a live presentation of 'show and tell' in which  students shared their thoughts about how technology is an integral part of our daily lives.

The students of PS Bulbul and PS Sparrow presented a zippy dance to the song ‘Do The Funky Robot’ as live robots!.) The screen looked like a party of robots had landed to take our breaths away!

Towards the end of the exhibition, a short video was played which consisted of not only homework by the tiny tots during the summer vacation but also  art and craft activities done by them with their teachers during the online classes.

The exhibition presented students with the much-needed opportunity to showcase their skills and talents. Students from both sections participated with enthusiasm in this virtual programme.

A vote of thanks acknowledged students, parents and teachers for their efforts and encouragement to make this exhibition day a resounding success.
