The academic session 2022-23 at The Indian School-Second Shift wrapped up with a fun-filled adventure camp at the School eco park, for the students of classes 3-5 on March 27, 2023. The camp was conducted under the guidance of experienced instructors who ensured the safety of the students.
The camp offered a positive and safe environment where the children could gain new confidence and self-esteem. This camp helped them develop basic athletic skills such as balancing, coordination etc.
The students arrived at the venue bubbling with excitement on the pleasant March morning and headed to participate in the activities lined up for them. The spread included an array of adventure activities like the Commando Net, Commando Crawl, Trampoline, Zip Line, Parallel Rope, Ladder climbing, Ladder Walk and many more. The children participated with zeal and felt triumphant when they completed each task. Every activity aimed at honing a different skill. The students managed to cross the Zip Line confidently!
The adventure camp provided students an opportunity to learn new skills, overcome fears, develop teamwork and leadership qualities through the various activities on offer. A sumptious and fresh hot lunch on the farm environs was a special treat for the appetites now built up!
The camp concluded with picking vegetables to take home. Cabbage, spinach, potato, etc were a joy to pick off the soil! Our city children were simply delighted by this novel experience. We came back rich with memories.
