Citizenship Programme- MCD school Visit

<p style="text-align: justify;">The Indian School-Second Shift conducts an effective Citizenship Programme to ingrain the spirit of responsibility to society.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">The children of classes 4 and 5 were taken to a nearby MCD school to showcase a nukkad natak on 10th October, 2017. The play was themed Gandhi and his Principles and the children performed enthusiastically.</p> [gallery link="none" ids="12630,12631,12632"] <p style="text-align: justify;"></p> <p style="text-align: justify;">The concept of the natak was one that set out to teach the message of Honesty, Peace, Non-Violence and Cleanliness, in a fun filled way. The young presenters also spoke about how burning crackers pollutes the environment. The children and teachers present at the MCD school greatly appreciated the skit and pledged to observe a safe and eco-friendly Diwali.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Ms. Neeti Gupta, Citizenship Coordinator.</p>
