The Indian School-Second Shift

YAMUNA WALK

Keeping in sync with the School Citizenship Programme and our commitment to sustainability, School has tied up with Swechha, well known NGO, for a guided Yamuna Walk. The walk is a simple way to demonstrate the drastically harmful ways in which the city, its dwellers and its industries pollute and damage a sacred river. The experience aims at raising an awareness of the ecological threats to the Yamuna and our city.

This programme is open to students of classes 2,3, 4 and 5. The students will start the day early at 9.15 am on Thursday, 9 March, 2017 and will need to be picked up from School at 3 pm.

A nominal charge of Rs. 100 per child is payable to the organisers. Transport will be organised by School. Parents of those wishing to participate, may kindly return the consent form below duly filled up, along with the fee, to the class teacher, latest by Tuesday, 7 March, 2017.
