Steps to safeguard the children from the pollution
Dear Parents,
With winter at our doorsteps and the pollution levels rising, it is imperative to take steps for the well being of our children. School is taking specific measures, aimed at protecting the children from the poor air quality and smog that has a detrimental impact on health of the children and even adults.
1. Outdoor sports activities are discontinued and will commence once the pollution reduces.
2. The children may wear a mask to School to protect themselves from the pollutants in the air. These can be procured from the local pharmacies or online.
3. In case of ill health and symptoms of cold and cough, please do not send the child to School.
4. Pollutant-absorbing indoor plants like Sansevieria, Areca palm, Money Plant, Spider Plant and Peace Lilies have been placed in the School corridors to minimise the effect of pollution on the children. We request you to do the same at home too.
Let us join hands and try and do our bit to make our environment clean and safe for our children. Every effort, big or small makes a difference.
