PRE- SCHOOL ENGLISH STORY TELLING COMPETITION

Dear Parents,

Listening to stories is edutainment and narrating them is an art! We thus, spare no opportunity to usher our children to engage with stories, to prompt new wonder in them even whilst helping exercise their tender imaginations.

In continuation of this endeavour, we have planned an English story telling competition on Wednesday, 31st January, 2018.

Please take a note of the following points for the same.

• Participation in the competition is mandatory.
• Students to come in School uniform.
• Props are optional, should be manageable by the students.
• Any one of the following stories to be chosen from the Reading Skills Reader for the story telling competition:-

1. The Ant and the Grasshopper
2. The Magic Lamp
3. The Rats and the Elephants
4. The Three Little Pigs
5. The Mouse, the Frog and the Hen

• Introduction (self and story), Voice Modulation, Confidence, Speech clarity, Expression and Overall Presentation will be the parameters for judgment.
• The BEST NARRATORS will be awarded with a certificate.

Like in the past, we seek our dear parents cooperation and involvement to help our little ones triumphantly tread their path of development.
