Dear Parents, 

The Mukhyamantri Vigyan Pratibha Pariksha (MVPP) is a prestigious scholarship exam conducted every year by the Directorate of Education, GNCT of Delhi for the students of Class IX (2026-27).

Important information:

November 21,  2026 (Tentative)

Scholarship

One time scholarship of 5,000/- for the first 1,000 qualifiers.

Eligibility Criteria

60% (For General candidates) & 55% (for students belonging to SC/ST and Divyang (For Disabilities refer to Note 2 given below) category in Class VIII in the session 2025-26.

Please provide latest caste (OBC) certificate, if applicable (Refer to Note 3 given below)

Examination pattern

Offline MCQ examination of Mental Ability Test (MAT) &  Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) of 100 marks and 100 minutes each respectively. (There is NO negative marking, students are advised to attempt all questions)

Distribution of admit Cards to the students (To be issued by the School)

Note-1:

  • Attach a cancelled cheque for bank details.
  • Also, fill in the same information in the Google Form: https://forms.gle/LhCbEosKNhrKat3z8  by September 30, 2026
  • Students who will be registered should get a bank A/C opened in their name (with either of their parents as they are minors.) The account or bank details of the candidate provided is to be that of the student only.
  • Email ID of the student is mandatory.

Note- 2: Divyang (Disabilities) category :

  • Blindness and low vision: (Visually impaired low vision)
  • Deaf and hard of hearing; (Hearing impaired)
  • Locomotor disability including cerebral palsy, leprosy cured, dwarfism, acid attack victims and muscular dystrophy: (LD)
  • Autism, intellectual disability, specific learning disability and mental illness; (AID),
  • Multiple disabilities from amongst persons under clauses (a) to (d) including deaf-blindness in the posts identified for each disabilities (MD)

Note-3:

  • The candidates who claim to be under EWS (Economic Weaker Section) category, will have to provide EWS (Economic Weaker Section) Certificate which will be valid for the year 2026-27. Income certificates will NOT be considered.
  • The OBC candidates will provide the OBC (Latest Non-Creamy Layer) certificate only as a valid proof.
  • If EWS (Economic Weaker Section) certificate /OBC (Latest Non-Creamy Layer) certificate is not provided by the candidate at the time of application/registration, he/she will be treated as a general candidate. No changes in the category will be accepted at a later stage.
  • Provide the account/bank details of the student only.
