Lets Collectively fight Pollution
Dear Parents,
As responsible citizens, it is our collective duty to protect the environment and ensure a healthier and safer future for our children. With increasing concerns about air pollution, particularly during the winter months, we urge all parents to join hands with the school in adopting environmentally responsible practices.
Refrain from bursting firecrackers during festivals, weddings and other celebrations.
Encourage children to celebrate festivals with diyas, lights, rangoli and other eco-friendly activities.
Avoid the unnecessary use of private vehicles, particularly for short distances.
Prefer carpooling, metro services and other forms of public transport whenever feasible.
Report instances of garbage burning to the concerned civic authorities.
Avoid unnecessary honking, particularly near schools, hospitals and residential areas.
Keep the volume of music systems, televisions and loudspeakers at reasonable levels.
Avoid littering and promote proper waste segregation.
Avoid single-use plastic and encourage reusable water bottles, lunch boxes and bags.
Help children understand the importance of nurturing plants and protecting trees.
Let's actively support the above measures and encourage our children to become environmentally conscious citizens.
