Dear Parents,
As per tradition at our School, we will be organising Annual Day this year, based on the School theme for 2026-27- 'MIGRATION-Journeys that Shape Us'. It will involve a rich mix of drama, music and dance. Tableaux based on the theme will also be put together and presented by the children.
In fact the entire School will resonate with manifold levels of new learning based on the School theme, which, as we know, reflects Movement—of people, cultures, ideas, and species—and reveals how these journeys transform societies, identities, and environments.
Team work, confidence building and time management will get silently ingrained in the students at all levels, as the exercise proceeds.
The entire process of an annual day, is thus a magnificent opportunity to discover and demonstrate the diverse talents of each participating child.
1. The tentative date for this year's Annual Day is mid October, before the pollution sets in.
2. Practice sessions will be scheduled during School hours.
3. Parents of the participating children will be invited to view the show.
4. Whilst we strongly recommend that all the children participate, for a memorable experience and an invaluable learning that the occasion will provide, however, please note that participation is voluntary.
5. Auditions will commence shortly. Those wishing to participate, will need to deposit a parental consent slip and a sum of Rs. 3,000 to cover costs (including the costume) with the class teacher by 10 August'26. Payment can be made online, by cheque or in cash.
6. Participation is open to the students of all classes.
