Annual Day Circular 2024

Dear Parents, 

The School Annual Day is around the corner and the countdown and the excitement has begun! We appreciate and commend your cooperation thus far and count on it for 2 days of smashing performances.  

For a smooth conduct of the function on the 3 days (including 1 day of rehearsal on the 13^th), please note the following. 

• Please adhere to the following School timings for the participants:  

Friday 13 December: 2 pm to 7 pm 

Saturday 14 December: 3 pm to 8 pm 

Sunday 15 December: 3 pm- 8 pm 

It will be a holiday for the non-participants on 13, 14^th and 15^th December'24. 

 

• Students are to wear the School uniform on the day of the rehearsal and should carry a snack, a fruit, a water bottle and the almanac. Kindly label all bags, jackets and other belongings. 

• Participants will be handed their costumes to take home before 13 December. 

• On 14 and 15^th December, all participants are to come dressed in the costume for their events. 

• All participants should come with light makeup from home. The makeup will only be touched-up at School.The children should carry a comb, hairpins, bob-pins, safety pins, cotton balls, cleansing milk. Only black hair clips are allowed. 

• The boys should wear their hair in a short, neat haircut. 

• Since it is likely to be cold outdoors, your child can wear a beige thermal beneath the costume. Skin coloured socks and black rubber bands are to be worn by all students. 

• Do not send your ward with expensive jewellery or watches. School will not be responsible for any misplaced items. 

• Participants must eat a light lunch before reaching School on 14^th and 15^th December. Please ensure your ward carries a labelled water bottle. 

• Kindly note that School will provide light refreshments on all three days- 13^th, 14^th and 15^th December. 

• Attendance of participants is compulsory on all 3 days. 

• Parents are requested not to take photographs as School has made arrangements for a professional photographer to cover the show. 

• Parents are requested not to approach the teachers on the days of the shows, as this disrupts the proceedings. 

• For security reasons, parents are requested NOT to carry any bags/ food etc to School except a small purse on the show days. Arrangements for refreshments are being made inside School. 

• Please keep your cell phones in switched-off mode for the duration of the programme. 

• Parents are requested to carpool or opt for a cab or other public transport to arrive at School on the 14^th and 15^th. This will spare you parking hassles and relieve congestion on the road outside. 

• In case your ward is travelling by van on any of the days you may inform the class teacher in advance. 

• Parents are also requested to cooperate with the guards for parking guidance. 

• Parents must mandatorily carry the official School invitation card (to be handed to the participants) along with the parent ICard for entry.  

• In the interest of safety of the gathering and especially the children, parentsare requested to be patient and carefully follow the instructions for dispersal on all days as mentioned below in the dispersal plan. 

• Parents are requested to collect their wards only from their appointed dispersal venues (detailed below). 

• Students will assemble at their respective venues for dispersal after the grand finale. The staircase, near the auditorium, is for exit only. 

• Kindly note that the parents of participating students of the following classes are invited for the function on 14 December: 

Classes PS, I, III, V and VII 

Entry of parents- Bus gate 

• The parents of participating students of the following classes are invited to view the show on the 15^th: 

Classes PP, II, IV, VI and VIII

Dispersal Plan for 14^th December 

• Invitee parents of PS, I, III, V and VII- Dispersal from the Kota Niwas area after the grand finale at 7:45 pm. 
• Non-invitee parents may come to collect their wards from the bus gate at 8:15 pm.

Dispersal Plan for 15^th December  

• Invitée parents of PP, II, IV, VI and VIII- Dispersal from the Kota Niwas area after the grand finale at 7:45 pm. 
• Non-invitee parents are requested to come and collect their wards from the bus gate at 8:15 pm

Dispersal Plan for 13^th December    (rehearsal)  

• PS, PP, I, II, III - 6:45 pm from the bus gate. Entry and exit from the bus gate. 

•  IV, V, VI, VII and VIII - 6:45 pm from Kota Niwas. Entry and exit of parents from the back gate.
